Kelp Chips
4 Servings
Ingredients:
4 6-inch pieces of kelp
1/3 cup sesame oil
1. Remove excess salt from help with a lightly dampened paper towel, and quickly wipe the pieces. Don’t get the kelp too wet! Use scissors to cut the kelp pieces in half lengthwise and again crosswise.
2. Heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the kelp strips to the hot oil and fry for 3 minutes on each side, or until they change to a deep golden-brown color Remove and drain on paper towels.
Horseradish Dip
4 servings
Ingredients:
1 cup thick coconut milk (or Nude Ranch Dip, or Organic Goat’s Milk yogurt)
1 1/2 Tablespoons fresh horseradish
1 Tablespoon agave or brown rice syrup
1 T. lemon juice
1 pinch of sea salt
Prep:
1. Simple whisk together ingredients by hand and add sea salt to taste, as desired. A pinch of cayenne is a great addition, too!
