- 4 6-inch pieces of kelp
- ⅓ cup sesame oil
- Remove excess salt from help with a lightly dampened paper towel, and quickly wipe the pieces. Don’t get the kelp too wet! Use scissors to cut the kelp pieces in half lengthwise and again crosswise.
- Heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the kelp strips to the hot oil and fry for 3 minutes on each side, or until they change to a deep golden-brown color Remove and drain on paper towels.
1 cup thick coconut milk (or Nude Ranch Dip, or Organic Goat’s Milk yogurt)
1 1/2 Tablespoons fresh horseradish
1 Tablespoon agave or brown rice syrup
1 T. lemon juice
1 pinch of sea salt
1. Simple whisk together ingredients by hand and add sea salt to taste, as desired. A pinch of cayenne is a great addition, too!
