A wonderful addition to a spread of hors d'oeuvres - also works as a lovely condiment for sandwiches.

Yields: 2½ cups.
Ingredients
  • 1 cup sun dried tomatoes, soaked for 2-3 hours
  • ½ cup fresh tomatoes
  • ½ cup walnuts, soaked
  • ¼ cup basil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ t. curry powder
  • Salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Blend everything in the food processor until almost smooth. If you do not have one you can try the blender or a hand blender.
  2. Optional: place paté in the center of a 1-foot piece of plastic wrap, and form into a log shape, wrapping with the wrap and twisting at the edges to form a roll.
  3. Chill for 4 hours at least, or overnight. Unwrap and slice.
